Upcoming events:

HSSC Holiday Party on December 13th. The event will take place at Pet Junction from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM. You may bring your dogs for holiday photos! We will have a brief meeting and snacks.

Pet Junction is located in the Shoreview Shopping Center at 157 County Rd E, St Paul, MN 55126

HSSC Annual General Meeting and Election of Club Officers on January 9th, 2016. More details on location and time to follow. This will take place after the Land O’ Lakes conformation show.

This year it will be held at Como Park in St. Paul, Sunday,  October 18th. We will walk around Como Lake, 1.8 mi. round trip. Everyone is invited, including Minis and Giants.

Meet at 11:00AM in the parking lot in front of the Pavilion. Free parking. We will have a coffee, water/ snack/ dog treat table waiting back at the pavilion for those completing the 1.8 mi loop around Como lake, and for those who just want to socialize or go shorter distances.

The autumn leaves should be great this time of the month. Hoping for a great sunny day and also to see everyone there!

Our regional specialty is this weekend on Friday, August 21 at the St. Croix Valley show at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Lake Elmo, MN.  You’ll see lots of Standard Schnauzers there!

Ring times on Friday (HSSC Specialty – Ring 5):  Sweeps 1:15 PM; Regular: 2:00 PM

Ring times on Sat/Sun (St. Croix Valley – Ring 5) : 11:00 AM

After the specialty, please join us at Sunny Lambert’s home in Afton for a meal, auction, and meeting!  It will be lots of fun!  Please see a member for her address if you don’t already have it.

The grooming day is set for July 19 at Animal Inn, we will also be having a general member meeting during this event. The event time is from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Please come and share in fellowship with other Schnauzers and their owners!  Bring your grooming table and get some tips from fellow members.

Just a reminder that there is a Schnauzer Walk coming up this Saturday, May 3!  Details from member Roger Eriksen:

Sunday, May 3, from 1-3 PM at Central Park East, 2540 Lexington Ave. No., Roseville, MN

We will meet in the parking lot prior to starting the walk around Bennett Lake at 1 PM.
